Richard Greene has been a part of Colorado Springs' music community throughout most of his life. He is a songwriter, studio musician, producer, audio engineer, and instructor of both guitar and bass. Having authored his own book, “Guitarist’s Survival Handbook,” it is safe to say that he has an immense amount of experience in the teaching realm. He utilizes an integrated approach that helps his students to understand the relationship between chords, scales, and arpeggios. Reading, theory, technique, improvisation, finger-pricking, alternate tunings, and writing may also be explored. His enthusiasm and progressive approach will keep you motivated to both practice and advance as a player.
